In order to play Dewi in 'DEWI RINDU', Angela Gilsha is willing to seek inspiration from Netflix series

"I watched the series Maid on Netflix. It's about a single parent, a husband who is an alcoholic and abusive, and he runs away with his child," she explained in a recent virtual interview.

From the series, she gained inspiration about the scene as a hurt goddess.

"From that series, I was inspired, more or less, it has a similar story to me and my child going to Banyuwangi, I was looking for money to support my child. The rest, I asked the director about the exploration," Angela continued.

2. Unique Character

The beautiful actress with beautiful hair mentioned how unique the character Dewi is. Because she has never played a character like this before.

"It's unique itself because I have never played a character like Dewi before. Most of them are hurt, but Dewi is brave, a strong woman, a single parent. Even though she is hurt, bullied by neighbors, called an improper girl, pregnant out of wedlock, she cries but truly rises," she concluded.
