The atmosphere of grief still envelops the heart of actress and presenter Olla Ramlan after the passing of her beloved mother, Hj. Pissa Assarah. However, in the midst of her sadness, Olla has to face another bitter reality, namely the negative comments from netizens who seem to lack empathy for her condition.

When met after holding a 7-day prayer for her late mother, Olla Ramlan could not hide her heartache. She admitted that she was very disturbed by the various negative comments that were not only incorrect but also seemed to add to her already heavy burden.

"What hurts me is, yes I’m not noisy, but funny enough there are many funny comments from netizens that can lead to here, lead to here, like that. Even though this is my life. I am the one who is sick," she said when met in the Pondok Indah area, South Jakarta, Saturday (18/10/2025) night.

Although feeling annoyed, Olla chose not to respond directly to those comments. She prefers to leave everything to God and pray that those who insult her receive a fitting response.

The passing of her mother was indeed a severe blow for Olla. For her, the deceased was the main source of strength in her life, a place where she poured out all her grievances, especially during difficult times like her divorce.

"Whatever life I lead, as a single mother of three, the pain I experience, the pain I face, I share all with my mom," she reminisced.

Now, with the absence of her mother, Olla feels she has lost one of her strongest defenses. However, she strives to remain strong and honor her late mother by being a good daughter.
