Inara Rusli reveals the development of her daughter Starla's interests, who is currently fascinated by the world of drawing and science. According to her, the child once wanted to be an animator before finally becoming interested in being a doctor. Check out the full story below!
"Yes, Alhamdulillah, I give her a tablet, the purpose is for drawing and she wants to sketch on the gadget, and she likes to sneakily watch YouTube," said Inara when met in the South Tangerang area on Monday (14/4/2025).
She realizes that as a parent, one cannot fully control a child's access to the digital world. Inara prefers to instill values of faith as a guide for her child.
"Yes, no matter how strict we are, we cannot control children from accessing the internet. What we can instill in them is that Allah is All-Seeing; whether you lie to Mommy, Allah is always watching, and secondly, make sure these eyes are a gift from Allah," she explained.
Inara emphasizes that it is important for children to be mindful of what they see and consume visually. She is also grateful that Starla is starting to choose educational content.
"So use it according to the trust given by Allah, do not misuse it to view anything that is forbidden by religion. So after she knows, look for content that aligns with education and knowledge," said the former wife of Virgoun.
Starla has learned a lot from the educational shows, especially in the field of biology. This has helped her start to understand the functions of the human body in a fun way.
"So one of the things she saw was about biology, she learned a lot and sketched on her tablet, about the function of the kidneys and others," she said. Â "By drawing it, she can finally understand its functions well, and then she immediately said, 'Mom, I think Lala wants to be a doctor instead,' before she wanted to be an animator," she continued.
As a mother, Inara does not impose her will regarding her child's career choice in the future. She only hopes that Starla can become a person who is beneficial to others. Â "Well, I leave it up to her whether she wants to be an animator or a doctor, whatever is important is to become the best human being and the most beneficial," said Inara.
