Indah Kalalo Candidly Explains the Reasons for Selling Her Luxury Home in Bali, Priced at 52 Billion

The house, located in the Umalas area of Bali, carries both sweet and bitter memories for Indah and her family. One of the main reasons for the sale is the trauma experienced by her husband, Justin Werner, due to a serious motorcycle accident that occurred in May 2021. The accident resulted in severe facial injuries for Justin, including a shattered cheekbone and throat injury. Now, every time he passes the same road, Justin feels profound trauma.

Indah revealed, "One of the reasons I want to sell the house is because the accident happened not far from my house. Every time we pass that road, my husband is traumatized. Well, let's just move houses, hopefully it sells quickly, but it hasn't sold yet," said Indah Kalalo while being a guest on Pagi Pagi Ambyar on Saturday (1/3/2025).

1. The Desire to Live Peacefully Near the Beach

After the traumatic experience, Indah and her family felt the need to seek a new, quieter environment. They wanted to live in a place close to the beach, where they could enjoy the sea view every day. This desire became one of the strong motivations to sell their house in Umalas, which was previously surrounded by rivers.

"I bought it 10 years ago, there was really nothing at all. Now you know Bali, from everywhere there are buildings, everyone from all over the world is building. As a result, land prices keep rising, many people are interested from all over the world, house prices are rising, land prices are rising. That's why I'm also anxiously hoping for a profit," said Indah Kalalo.

2. Want to Move to the Beachside

Indah also revealed that she is reluctant to return to Jakarta despite having bad memories from the accident in Bali. She and her husband will still live in Bali and are looking for a property closer to the beach.

"I don't want to go back to Jakarta, I want to stay in Bali. We're looking for something by the seaside. Well, you know, it's a dream, waking up to see the fresh beach. Right now, my house is surrounded by rivers," she said. However, to make that happen, Indah hopes her old house sells first.
