Indira Sudiro's Story Fighting for the Revocation of Parent's Will by Her Sibling

In a podcast channel by Maia Estianty, Indira Sudiro shared her story of fighting to uphold her parent's will that was revoked by her own sibling. On that occasion, the beautiful 52-year-old woman expressed her deepest feelings towards her suing sibling.

1. Now Becomes the Oldest Child in the Family

Indira Sudiro is known to be the second child out of four siblings. She has an older sibling and two younger siblings. However, since the older sibling passed away, Indira Sudiro is now the oldest child. Taking on the role as the oldest child in her family, Indira Sudiro assumes responsibility after the departure of both her parents and her older sister.

2. Sued by Her Younger Sibling

Indira Sudiro's mother is known to have passed away earlier. Then, followed by her father who passed away in 2015. However, after the departure of both her parents, Indira Sudiro was shocked when her own younger sibling filed a lawsuit. Previously, Indira Sudiro's parents had left a will in the form of a message and trust for their children.

"After our parents passed away, everything was fine, there was a will that our parents left. Yes, we accepted the will gracefully, thank God. But suddenly, one of my siblings filed a lawsuit against the will, without any reason or cause," said Indira Sudiro as quoted from MAIA ALELDUL TV channel.

3. Already 6 Years Fighting for the Parent's Will

Since the lawsuit, Indira Sudiro has spent the past six years fighting to uphold her parent's will after it was cancelled by one of her own siblings. It is known that the winner of Miss Jakarta 1991 received the lawsuit letter from one of her siblings in 2018. Since then, Indira has been through 15 court hearings at all levels of the judiciary.

"In 2018, we received a letter from the court stating that there was a lawsuit. We were shocked, honestly very shocked and devastated. Because we were sued by our own siblings," said Indira Sudiro.

4. Feeling Oppressed and Unexpected

On that occasion, Indira Sudiro admitted feeling oppressed. Moreover, she and her other siblings were already aware of the will and agreed to accept and carry out the late parents' message and trust. However, she was surprised when she received a lawsuit from one of her siblings.

"I feel oppressed because this is actually a family issue. Between me and my own sibling, in my little mind, how could it come to this?" said Indira Sudiro.

"When they were still alive, we were told that they would leave a message like this. And we knew, we accepted it well. Suddenly, during the journey, someone filed a lawsuit to cancel the will," she continued.

5. Trying to Carry Out the Trust and Message of the Parents

As the oldest child, Indira Sudiro strives to fulfill the trust and message left by her parents. This is the reason why she wants to fight for the will.

In addition, the late older sibling also left a trust to Indira Sudiro regarding the current issue of will cancellation. The departure of the older sibling occurred while fighting for the parents' will against a lawsuit from one of their siblings.

"It is difficult for me to fulfill this because, in any case, trust must be carried out. As the eldest child, we must be dutiful to our parents, fulfill their will and do good things. With the lawsuit and other issues, it hinders the implementation of these good things," explained Indira Sudiro.

6. Communication Has Been Cut Off

Since facing this issue, Indira Sudiro's relationship with her sibling has become more strained. In fact, she admits that communication with her younger brother has been cut off. On the other hand, Indira Sudiro wants to maintain the unity of her family after the departure of both parents.

"I want to maintain the unity of our family. With this lawsuit, even our family ties are disrupted. And since this lawsuit, honestly, we feel like we have severed ties," expressed Indira Sudiro.

7. Wanting Everything to End Peacefully

Despite feeling wronged, Indira still hopes that all these problems can be resolved peacefully. In fact, Indira Sudiro wants to meet with her sibling and discuss the issue calmly. Moreover, Indira's relationship with one of her siblings who sued her used to be very close. This is what makes Indira Sudiro feel sad.

"I want to be able to meet on good terms as the oldest sibling. I want to resolve this issue peacefully," said Indira Sudiro.
