Indra Bekti and Aldila Jelita Take Their Children for Umrah, Thorough Preparation - Special Advice for Their Little Ones

Indra Bekti and Aldila Jelita along with their two children departed to perform Umrah on Sunday (27/10/2024) from Soekarno Hatta Airport. They feel very grateful to be able to carry out this worship together as a complete family.

Indra expressed his happiness in being able to bring the children for the first time to the Holy Land, an opportunity they have long awaited.

“Alhamdulillah, we have been given the opportunity by Allah to perform Umrah. We had the chance to go with just my wife before, now with the children. We will be here until November 8. We will stop by Dubai first before heading to Madinah and Mekkah,” said Indra Bekti before departing on Sunday (27/10/2024).

For Aldila, taking the children on a religious journey like this is a special happiness. She mentions that their family always chooses to travel together, including this time abroad.

“Because we are a complete package. Wherever it is abroad, we can’t leave the children behind. Alhamdulillah, whatever it is, we ask for the children's approval, there’s always a blessing,” said Dilla.

Interestingly, this is the first experience for both of Indra Bekti and Aldila Jelita's children to perform umrah. Although the children have traveled abroad during a holiday to Sydney last year, performing umrah has been a dream for them.

“Yes, for the first time. If abroad, it was last year in Sydney. They are very excited. Their dream is to perform umrah,” said Indra Bekti.

To maintain conditions and comfort during worship, Aldila prepares herself well, including ensuring that her menstruation does not interfere with her worship. She hopes that all their efforts to perform umrah will go smoothly.

“We don’t know the journey when going abroad. This is already a warning not to make her mother emotional, we have prayed so many times (to learn). There are also programs so that her menstruation does not interfere. Hopefully, our efforts will be granted,” said Dilla.

Indra Bekti also explained that he has given his children an idea of what they will go through during umrah. With an Islamic educational background, his children already understand a little about umrah.

"They go to an Islamic school, they already know what umrah is like. Just yesterday we also had a manasik," added Indra.

On the other hand, Aldila has also explained to the children that this journey is a journey of worship, not just an ordinary vacation.

"Yes, we say here it's worship, not just going abroad to sleep and walk around. This is indeed worship, waking up earlier at night, praying. The intention is for worship," he explained.
