The Eid moment that should be a family gathering seems to feel different for businessman Insanul Fahmi. In the midst of his divorce process with Wardatina Mawa and a case of alleged adultery with Inara Rusli, he is said to be having difficulty meeting his child.
This was revealed by his lawyer, Tommy Tri Yunanto, who stated that communication between Insanul and Mawa is no longer going well. This situation also affects Insanul's access to meet his children.
According to Tommy, Insanul actually has a strong desire to celebrate Eid with his children. Unfortunately, that hope seems to be hindered by the strained communication with Mawa.
"Yes, so Insanul wants eh he wants to meet his child during this Eid, to be able to spend time with the kids like that, that's what he wants," said Tommy when met at the Metro Jaya Police Headquarters in South Jakarta, Monday (16/03/2026).
Currently, Insanul is known to still be in Medan and plans to come to Jakarta on the first or second day of Eid. However, the plan to meet with his children has yet to reach a clear resolution.
The strained communication between Insanul and Mawa is the main obstacle. "Yes, it's already quite strained, because there was a statement like that yesterday, so Mawa is resolving the issue with Mawa first," explained Tommy.
Furthermore, Tommy implied that Mawa's side seems to be closing off communication for Insanul to connect with his children. "Recently yes, because there is no good communication for the child. I think this needs to be clarified and rules need to be made for the future," he said.
He also emphasized that matters concerning children should not be restricted, as they have the right to meet both of their parents, regardless of the existing issues. "I think that's because children can't be... they can't be limited, right? If it's for the child to the father and mother," he concluded.
This situation adds to the complex problems faced by Insanul. Currently, he is facing several issues at once after practicing polygamy without his wife's permission.
