Involved in Shannon Wong's Assault Case, Athalla Naufal Denies Having a Special Relationship

"Athalla is just a friend for Shannon to confide in. There is no special or close relationship. He is a millennial. Sometimes they tend to assume things faster than they should. Close people are called dating," said Lapana Saragih.

Athalla Naufal said that the beginning of his closeness with Shannon Wong was because they often create YouTube and TikTok content together. He also mentioned that Shannon Wong never talked about her family problems.

"She never talked about (family problems). At first, I knew her through gimmicks on TikTok, YouTube, it was just work and having fun. I was also surprised about this deep matter," he explained.

Verrell Bramasta's younger brother said that he hasn't met or communicated with Shannon Wong for a long time. However, Shannon uploaded a photo of them about 5 days ago and they exchanged affectionate comments.

"We don't meet too often. I was also busy in Dubai for a month, so we rarely meet. But because I used to make YouTube and TikTok content, people might think (we're dating)," said Athalla Naufal.

However, Athalla Naufal said that Shannon Wong is a good person. He hopes that the problems faced by Shannon Wong and his family will be resolved quickly.

"Shannon is a good person, and I believe that there will be a solution to any problem he faces. I also pray every day for him and his family to be safe and whole again," he concluded.
