Ira Swara Mentioned Her Husband Switched Careers to Become an Online Driver During the Pandemic, Causing Their Child to Take a Leave from College - Sold All Assets

When the pandemic occurred, Ira, who had rarely performed as a singer, faced economic difficulties. Her husband's job as an architect, which was also affected by the pandemic, made the situation even harder. 

The business built by Ira Swara & her husband also experienced a standstill. To cope with this, Ira mentioned that Cecep Syarifudin, her husband, had to be willing to switch gears and become an online driver. 

In addition, Ira also borrowed funds from several close people. Their child named Yunia or Nia also decided to take a leave from college. 

Ira Swara even sold some assets to support her family's living. She did this because her husband's income as an online driver was still considered barely enough. 

Ira mentioned that her husband's income as an online driver could only cover food. Nevertheless, Ira as a wife accepts whatever her husband's income is.

"We are really, oh God, already sincere, until tomorrow what to eat, you know. Basically, just to have a clean meal of a hundred thousand is already Alhamdulillah," said Ira Swara, quoted by KapanLagi.com via TRANS TV OFFICIAL. 

After a hiatus, the owner of the real name Wahyuni Irawati is back to singing to help the family's economy. Ira also hosts and is a guest star on several television shows.

Not only Ira, her daughter Nia also started to dive into the music world following in her mother's footsteps. Nia herself is a graduate from one of the music schools in Bandung.

Ira Swara is one of the senior dangdut singers in the country who became popular through several hit songs such as Wakuncar, Goyang Senggol, Gelisah, and Colak Colek.
