Irfan Hakim Reveals Vega Darwanti's Struggle to Care for Her Mother, Feeding Her and Preparing Her Own Meals

This was revealed by Irfan Hakim during a visit to the mourning house in the Jatinegara area, East Jakarta. According to him, Vega's father acknowledged that his daughter was the one who most intensively took care of the late mother's needs every day.

"Yes, because earlier her husband (Vega's father) said, Vega is the one who takes care of everything the most, from feeding, providing whatever, she is very intensive in her care," said Irfan Hakim when met at the funeral home in Jatinegara, East Jakarta, on Monday (13/7/2026).

Irfan recounted that even on the morning before her mother took her last breath, Vega still managed to provide food. Even though using an NGT tube, Vega still prepared the food herself for her mother.

"Oh yes, just at 7 o'clock, the last 7 o'clock, Vega was still feeding her, yes she prepared it herself, that was already using assistive devices, the NGT tube and all. But yes, the care was very meticulous," he said.

2. Vega Rarely Talks About Her Mother's Condition

Behind her diligence in caring for her mother, Vega apparently did not talk much to her closest friends about the health condition of the deceased. According to Irfan, Vega only asked for prayers without ever complaining about the heavy struggles her family was going through.

"In fact, Vega rarely shares like that. Then earlier she said, 'I rarely tell you...', 'Oh yes, that’s true'. So she just said, 'Pray for my mother who is sick', that’s all," added Irfan.

A similar testimony was given by Anwar BAB, who directly observed the condition of the deceased at the funeral home. He noted that Vega's mother's face looked very clean and calm after being made up by her daughter.

"Earlier she was sleeping... very quiet, really sleeping, oh God. Earlier with Vega, just finished being powdered, she said her face was really white, very clean, mashallah, like she was sleeping," concluded Anwar.
