Raffi Ahmad Prepares Cipungland to be RANS Entertainment's Flagship IP

PT RANS Entertainment Indonesia Tbk does not want to be known only as a media company founded by Raffi Ahmad and Nagita Slavina. After officially listing on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), RANS has begun preparing several intellectual properties (IPs) as a long-term business growth engine, one of which is Cipungland.

The founder of RANS, Raffi Ahmad, stated that the company has now evolved into a business ecosystem that encompasses various sectors. Therefore, he wants RANS to no longer rely on the popularity of himself or Nagita.

"RANS has now transformed. It is no longer just Raffi Ahmad and Nagita Slavina. There is Cipungland, there is FMCG, there is F&B, and various other businesses. I want RANS to continue to evolve," said Raffi after the initial public offering ceremony of RANS on the IDX, Friday (10/7/2026).

Raffi admitted that he learned a lot from Walt Disney, whom he considers successful in developing characters into cross-industry businesses. This concept is what RANS wants to implement through various intellectual properties that they already own.

According to him, characters like Raffatar, Rayanza, and Cipungland have the potential to be further developed into a sustainable business ecosystem. "I am inspired by Walt Disney. It's not just about the founder's name, but how characters and intellectual property can evolve into a sustainable business. I want RANS to have a legacy like that," he said.

The President Commissioner of PT RANS Entertainment Indonesia Tbk, Darwin Cyril Noerhadi, revealed that the development of intellectual property is one of the priorities for the use of funds from the IPO. About 18 percent of the funds obtained from the initial public offering will be allocated to develop Cipungland.

According to Darwin, Cipungland is not only projected as a playground but also presents educational elements for children. "Cipungland is an activity focused on children's education. With a base of more than 150 million followers and subscribers that we have, the educational aspect becomes something very important," he explained.

On the same occasion, Raffi also reminisced about RANS' journey that started from a garage in 2016. From a digital channel documenting his family's activities, RANS has now transformed into a public company.

Raffi hopes that the stock listing on the IDX will be the beginning for RANS to build a long-term legacy that continues to benefit the community. "Starting today, RANS is not just owned by Raffi Ahmad and Nagita Slavina. I hope RANS becomes a legacy, a vehicle that brings blessings to many people. In the future, when Nagita and I are no longer here, RANS will continue to live and provide benefits to the community," he concluded.
