Audy Item Pregnant with Their Third Child, Iko Uwais Ensures He Remains Active in Shooting for the Family

Kapanlagi.com - Although he is enveloped in happiness welcoming the pregnancy of his wife, Audy Item, Iko Uwais ensures that he will continue to carry out various scheduled jobs. The action actor stated that he must keep working to meet his family's needs.

In a joking tone, Iko said he could not possibly stop working because the responsibility as the head of the family will grow even bigger with the arrival of their third child.

"Of course, if not, I can't feed my wife and my child. Oh yes, yes, later when she gives birth, I will have to be beaten up by the police first," said Iko Uwais when met in the Gelora Bung Karno area, Monday (6/7/2026).

1. Third Child Pregnancy Makes Emotional

Behind the jokes, Iko admitted that this pregnancy moment made him and Audy more emotional. He is grateful to still be trusted to have another child after 14 years of building their household.

"He cried, I mean it’s automatic that it will be emotional, because at this age he is still trusted by Allah, thank God, given health, and then, it was unexpected," he said.

Iko also casually responded to netizens' comments linking Audy’s pregnancy to the diet program that his wife had undergone.

2. Audy Item's Diet to Maintain Pregnancy

"Yes, the diet is to add another child. If there’s no love, I wouldn’t want to, Ma'am. Hahaha," he said while laughing.

According to Iko, the pregnancy was first known when the gestational age was about four weeks. The test pack results showing two clear lines further confirmed the feeling he had sensed earlier.

"It’s only been 6 weeks. When I first found out, it was already 4 weeks, so it’s been about a month, roughly almost a month. That’s why when I checked the test pack, it was positive, and it was very clearly positive," concluded Iko.
