This issue seems to involve Ivan Gunawan as well. He has just responded to the police's summons to become a witness in a drug case involving his assistant.
Accompanied by his lawyer, Ivan Gunawan appeared at the West Jakarta Metropolitan Police on Thursday (17/1/2019) at around 10.05 in the morning. His presence attracted the attention of the media who were present at the location.
Ivan also briefly spoke with the media about his presence at the West Jakarta Metropolitan Police. He confirmed that he was there to be a witness in the drug case involving his assistant.
"Yes, today I was asked to clarify the arrest of my assistant Andri Jordan Alatas, at the West Jakarta Police. So I received news that my assistant was caught using drugs, so I am here to provide a statement," he said.
Furthermore, the Jakarta-born star explained that he cooperated in providing his statement as a witness. In addition, he also took a urine test with negative results.
"I answered honestly based on what I know. I also took a urine test. Alhamdulillah, everything is negative," added the host of the Brownies Trans TV program.
Ivan also expressed gratitude for being able to find out about the involvement of his assistant in drugs more quickly. He was afraid that if it dragged on, his assistant could become a boomerang for him.
"I'm really grateful that the Jakbar police managed to catch my assistant faster because I'm also afraid that people closest to me in my life might become a boomerang for me. I'm afraid, you know," he concluded.
