Ivan Gunawan Reveals Reasons for Closing All His Credit Cards

This is exactly how presenter and famous designer, Ivan Gunawan, feels. In fact, the 38-year-old man chose to close all of his credit cards and stop borrowing money in the future.

"I want to live without credit cards. So I'm trying to close all the credit cards that I've been using. Yeah, last Friday I closed 3, today I closed 3 more, and there are still a few more credit cards that I want to close," said Igun when interviewed at Trans TV, South Jakarta, on Monday (8/6).

Igun's decision certainly raises questions in the public's mind. With pleasure, presenter Brownis explained the reasons behind his decision.

"Actually, it's not because of overwhelming bills, I mean I don't want to increase unnecessary debts. Because if there's a credit card, something that doesn't exist, sometimes it can be created. I want something but it turns out there's no money, so I end up swiping the credit card," explained the stout man.

2. Close 6, 4 Left

In the future, Igun wants to buy goods according to his ability. He no longer wants to rely on credit cards. So far, 6 cards have been closed or paid off. But apparently, Igun still has quite a lot of unfinished business.

"There are still 4 left. Because last December I was still traveling, there are still leftover debts from the trip. Please pray, God willing, I can live without credit cards. There are still 4 left, coincidentally they are the big ones. So I will pay off what I can," concluded Igun.

3. Cutting All Credit Cards

The origin of this news comes from Igun's post on Instagram. At that time, he showed a photo of several black credit cards that had been cut so they could no longer be used.

"Thank you credit cards. Thanks for accompanying me in shopping all this time," wrote Igun.
