Igun admits to learning a lot about the meaning of repentance and the importance of asking for forgiveness from God. For him, every human has shortcomings, but what matters most is how the end of one's life journey will be.

"Yes, he is being taught by the scholars to repent, to ask for forgiveness from Allah, to realize the mistakes of the past, right?" said Ivan Gunawan when met in the Sawangan area, Depok, Wednesday (18/2/2026).
"If humans are seen by their end results later. So how do we compete to seek and prepare for a better end result?" he continued.
Although he is now delving deeper into religion, Igun remains humble and does not want to set lofty targets in worship. He goes with the flow of the sustenance given to him by God.
Igun only hopes that his consistency in doing good can be maintained along with his career in the entertainment world. He also asks for prayers to always be able to do good.
"So, worship cannot be targeted, friends, just pray that the sustenance is always there, that the work is there, and that Allah continues to believe so that we can rise in other places," he said.
Regarding his role as a foster parent for the students, Igun feels this is a task that he must carry out every day. He regularly monitors the food needs and welfare of the orphans he mentors at his tahfiz house.
"Yes, when it comes to providing food, as a foster parent, it is indeed my duty to feed them, so I provide meals every day. Every day, preparing food, serving food, inviting them to eat," he said.
