Jamal Mirdad Will Be Summoned by the Police Regarding Allegations of Fraud and Embezzlement

Kapanlagi.com - Senior actor Jamal Mirdad will be summoned by the police for questioning regarding allegations of fraud and embezzlement of a house reported by Firdaus Nuzula. This was conveyed by the Criminal Investigation Unit Chief of Metro Depok Police, AKBP Yogen Heros.

"Later, after the witnesses, we will summon (Jamal Mirdad) once we have examined everything. Witnesses first, then evidence, and then we will summon him," said Yogen, when met at Metro Depok Police, Tuesday (1/3).

1. Still Collecting Evidence

Indeed, initially the case was reported to the South Jakarta Metro Police, Jakarta. However, it was eventually transferred to the Depok Metro Police and until now the police are still collecting evidence and witnesses, namely the local head and the National Land Agency (BPN) who will be summoned by the investigators.

"Still, it is still ongoing until now, we need to strengthen the testimonies of the witnesses," he said.

"So, once we have obtained all the testimonies, then we will determine whether this case can be escalated to a criminal offense," he concluded.

2. The Beginning of the Case

As reported, the case started when Jamal Mirdad sold a house in the Sawangan area, Depok, West Java to Firdaus in 2015 for Rp 490 million. In the agreement, Jamal was supposed to provide the house certificate after full payment.

However, after the payment was made, Firdaus claimed that he had not received his rights, while Jamal Mirdad could not be contacted.

3. Threat of Punishment

Based on the alleged case, the father of Naysila Mirdad is charged under Article 378 and/or Article 372 of the Criminal Code (KUHP) regarding allegations of fraud and/or embezzlement with a punishment of 4 years imprisonment.

4. Previously Sent a Summons

According to the complainant's legal representative, they sent a summons to Jamal Mirdad. Unfortunately, there was no response at all from Jamal's side.

"Until this report was made, there was no good faith from the accused to resolve the issue and the accused is difficult to contact," emphasized Zulpan.

5. Evidence

The evidence provided by the complainant includes PJB, purchase receipts, and account mutations. So far, the case is still under investigation.
