Jennifer Jill Claims to Have Not Used Meth for a Long Time, Hair Specimen Results Say Otherwise

Kapanlagi.com - The results of Jennifer Jill's hair specimen examination have come out. It is known that the wife of actor Ajun Perwira tested positive for using methamphetamine or crystal meth. This was revealed by AKP Arif Oktora, the Head of the Narcotics Investigation Unit I of West Jakarta Metropolitan Police, on Wednesday (24/2/2021).

After obtaining the results, Arif Oktora stated that they will conduct further examination on Jennifer Jill. As previously known, the wealthy woman claimed to have not used meth for a long time.

"We have obtained the results where the hair specimen indeed tested positive for methamphetamine from JJ's hair specimen. We may conduct further examination because her statement contradicts the results (Jennifer Jill)," said Arif Oktora at West Jakarta Metropolitan Police.

1. Just Started Using Drugs Recently?

If the hair specimen test shows someone positive for drugs, it means that the user has recently consumed the illegal substance within a certain period of time.

"The duration of this hair specimen test is one to three months, which means that during that time, the person in question used methamphetamine," he emphasized.

2. Threatened with 4 Years in Prison

As previously reported, Jennifer Jill was arrested by the West Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Unit on Tuesday (16/2/2021). She was arrested along with Ajun Perwira and her son named Philo. From the arrest, the police seized 0.39 grams of crystal methamphetamine and a used pipette known to belong to Jennifer Jill.

Since Philo and Ajun Perwira did not have enough evidence for further investigation, they were returned to their families. Meanwhile, Jennifer Jill, because she was proven to have violated the law, was charged under Article 112 paragraph (1) of Law Number 35 Year 2009 concerning narcotics, with a minimum sentence of 4 years and a maximum of 12 years imprisonment, and a fine of Rp 800 million to Rp 8 billion.
