Jerinx SID Hopes Request to Use Lie Detector Against Adam Deni Will Be Granted by the Judge

Jerinx suspects that Adam Deni's testimony in the previous trial was nothing but a lie or false testimony. He even said that Adam Deni also gave false information when examined by a psychiatrist.

"It's getting clearer. In the trial earlier, it was proven that Adam Deni lied when examined by a psychiatrist. That is one of the many lies he uttered," said Jerinx SID when met at the Central Jakarta District Court, Monday (7/2).

"That's why I am very confident that the panel of judges will grant the request for a polygraph test," he added.

In the same opportunity, Sugeng as Jerinx SID's legal representative stated that in order to prove the truth, they continue to strive for the polygraph request to be granted. Although Adam Deni is only a witness, he could be threatened with punishment if proven to provide false testimony.

"Certainly Jerinx is pursuing it. But according to the judge, Adam Deni is not the one being examined, Adam Deni is only a witness. Indeed, in procedural law, if he is a witness, he is threatened when giving false testimony under oath. Later, if he becomes a suspect, his polygraph will be examined," said Sugeng.

In addition, it is certain that the alleged social climbing (pansos) carried out by Adam Deni through this case is slowly being proven. Jerinx also confirmed that Adam Deni might only be using the case for popularity.

Meanwhile, during the investigation, Adam admitted to being afraid when receiving threats from Jerinx, but he analyzed that the fear was only a response from Adam. So what Jerinx conveyed at that time was perceived as a threat by Adam.

"We analyze that feeling of fear as a checked response when facing a situation that he perceives as a threat. It's a natural perception. With rational thinking ability, he can face the situation. He can consult with a lawyer about the situation he is facing," he said.

In addition, Tara admitted that Adam only admitted to being afraid when receiving the phone call, but he already knew how to anticipate his fear. Based on his confession, Adam did indeed remain silent for 7 to 10 days.
