Jerome Kurnia and Lutesha are very dedicated in portraying any character. They claim to not be afraid when pronouncing the Korean language correctly.

Jerome explains that there is a long process, not just one day or two days. There is coaching assistance to train them in Korean dialogues.

"That's where we learn, and if you’re not confident, don’t take it yet. You have to be like, sure first," concluded Jerome Kurnia at the KapanLagi office, Gondangdia, Jakarta, Wednesday (21/5/2025).

2. Challenges Faced

Jerome and Lutesha admit to being quite unfamiliar with Korean culture. However, Lutesha still watches one or two Korean films. In acting in this film, there are certainly many challenges faced.

Lutesha recounts one scene where she angrily speaks in Korean to Jerome’s character. During the take of that scene, there were Korean people who were angry, but Lutesha continued and had to improvise using the Korean language.

"But I don’t know why that was very, very difficult. Because the situation was quite chaotic, especially since I had to express anger while still speaking in Korean. Then there were some ladies or gentlemen who were angrily speaking in Korean next to me, which was quite stressful," she explained.

Jerome Kurnia also truly delves into the character he plays. In the film UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN, GOODBYE, Rey is an Indonesian who resides in Korea.

"Yes, basically, whether Indonesian or whatever, if Koreans see him, see Rey, they know this is not a Korean person, 'this is like' between a tourist or an illegal immigrant," said Jerome.
