Just Revealed! Geisha Vocalist Changed, Momo Actually Didn't Know

Kapanlagi.com - Geisha Band officially introduced their new vocalist in 2018. Regina Poetiray, the new Geisha vocalist, replaced Momo who had been on hiatus since getting married.

Since parting ways with Geisha and moving to Malang with her husband, Momo revealed that some of the old band members had come to visit. She shared this in Boy William's latest vlog.

"Have the Geisha kids been here?" asked Boy William.

"Yes, they have," Momo replied briefly.

"Do you miss Geisha?" Boy asked again.

"I do miss them," Momo said.

1. Momo Doesn't Know She Will Be Replaced

Boy became more curious about what actually happened to Geisha. He asked Momo again, why there was a change in vocalist. Apparently, this new vocalist change happened without Momo's knowledge. 

"Actually, I myself am confused when people ask me 'why suddenly the vocalist is not you anymore', well if I'm asked, I don't really know why, because I myself was not officially informed," said Momo. 

"I was not informed that they already had a replacement," she continued. 

2. No Official Notification

Momo continued, the band did not inform her officially that she would be replaced. Even during the last album launch when she was still with Geisha, she was not informed at all. 

"Officially, no one said, 'Mo, we can't continue. Momo can't join us anymore', something like that. But there is no official information," she said.

"Once, during my solo launch, I was not informed of the date either. So I only knew by looking at Instagram, 'oh, on that date'. I remember it was in July," she added.
