Kapanlagi.com - The process of finding a soulmate for Kartika Putri goes hand in hand with her desire to find an imam. In a video call with Melaney Ricardo, Kartika shares her journey of hijrah and finding a husband.

The video was then uploaded by Melaney on her YouTube channel, Melaney Ricardo. Kartika talks about many things, including the men who used to approach her before Habib Usman bin Yahya.

1. The Quran as a Guide

After some time searching for tranquility, Kartika found it by returning to God. She made the Quran her guide when she was feeling confused.

"We have God, who is our guide. When I feel confused now, I open the Quran. As a wife, it has been explained in detail there. As a wife, it has been explained. That's why now I think like this, if we want to find a good partner, we have to improve ourselves first," said Kartika.

2. Gadun and Someone Else's Husband

Furthermore, Kartika reminisced about the time when she had not yet worn a hijab. She referred to those times as moments when she was still like Tarzan and the men who approached her were not good people.

"Back then, you know, I was really like Tarzan, really Tarzan-like, and the people who liked me were either playboys or someone else's husband," she explained.

Then suddenly Habib Usman bin Yahya appeared on the screen, teasing Kartika. "Oh, my husband," she said, caressing the cheek of the habib affectionately.

3. Regretting Not Marrying Young

Kartika never imagined that her destined partner would be a habib (descendant of Prophet Muhammad SAW). She never thought she would become the wife of a habib, whose level of religiosity is high.

"Gadun, someone else's husband, if not like that, I would still be single. I used to not wear hijab, but I was looking for an imam. But at that time, I never thought about marrying a habib or someone with strong religious commitment. Not to mention a habib, I didn't even want an ustaz (religious teacher) back then. But at one point, I embraced the lessons of life, which became very valuable for me. Because regret is pointless. Now I feel like I missed out on why I only got married in this era," Kartika reminisced.
