Kapanlagi.com - Festival Pestapora 2022 will bring together hundreds of musicians from various genres. Not only that, the festival, which was initiated by Boss Creator, will also provide many surprises, one of which is the appearance of the Kerispatih band reunited with their former vocalist, Sammy Simorangkir.
"One of the performers who is not on the poster that we will bring is Kerispatih Reunion. And there are also several other names, we will announce them all later," said Kiki Aulia Ucup from Boss Creator at Beer Hall Jakarta Selatan, on Tuesday (28/6/2022).
In addition to the Kerispatih reunion, the Pestapora 2022 festival will also feature Abdel and Temon. The legendary comedians will perform acoustically on the stage. Abdel said that Pestapora 2022 is his first event performing with Temon on a music stage.
"This is the first time Temon and I will perform acoustically on a music stage. I will bring musicians to make it even better," said Abdel.
The Pestapora 2022 Festival also seems to be the first big offline stage experienced by musicians after two years of hiatus due to the pandemic, one of which is Seringai.
The band consisting of Arian, Ricky Siahaan, Edy Khemod, and Sammy Bramantyo really didn't perform during the pandemic. Not because there were no jobs, but Seringai itself really didn't want to take the stage online during the pandemic.
"A big festival, yes, the first one. Because during the pandemic, Seringai never performed. The guys (Seringai personnel) didn't want to decide not to perform streaming, it's not suitable. The idea is to be more memorable," said Edy Khemod, Seringai's drummer.
The Pestapora 2022 Festival itself will be held at Gambir Expo Kemayoran, Central Jakarta on September 23-25, 2022. This event features hundreds of musicians from various genres in Indonesia. Starting from Vierratale, The Adams, Rocker Rockers, RAN, Project Pop, NDX AKA, JKT48, Inul, Geisha, Abdel and Temon, Fourtwnty, Float, Efek Rumah Kaca, Barasuara.
Then there are also Trio Ambisi Bersama The Bataks Band, Tiara Andini, The Panturas, Seringai, Pee Wee Gaskins, Nadin Amizah, Nasida Ria, Navicula, Jason Ranti, Ipang Lazuardi, Kangen Band, Kerispatih. Tulus, Tribute to Koes Ploes (Vincent, Desta, Endah N Rhesa, Ndarboy Genk, Melly Goeslaw, Fiersa Besari, Hindia, Isyana Sarasvati, Budi Doremi, The Sigit, The Changcuters and many more.
"All you can eat music festival. Yes, in Pestapora, all genres are represented here. We facilitate the sustainability of the industry. If you want many genres, there are festivals that mix genres. What's clear is that I want to make a festival to the point, that's why it's called Pestapora. So it's just a fun event," Kiki Aulia Ucup concluded.
