Before her name soared on the Stand Up Comedy stage, this woman from Garut dedicated herself to the world of education as an Indonesian language teacher. However, behind this noble profession, Kiky harbors bitter experiences regarding the welfare of honorary teachers, which is still far from adequate.

Kiky openly revealed the amount of salary she received while still serving as an honorary teacher. The figure is considered very small to meet living needs in a big city, even far below the Regional Minimum Wage (UMR).

"I used to. My salary was Rp600,000 a month back then. Yes, I definitely did," she said when met in the area of Jalan Warung Jati Barat, Mampang, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (25/11/2025).

Although her salary was minimal, Kiky continued to pursue the profession with dedication. She even proudly referred to her degree, S.Pd, as "Self-Confident Graduate".

This teaching experience, she admitted, has also shaped her mentality and public speaking skills to this day.

When asked by the media whether she had a desire to return to her former profession as a teacher, Kiky gave a realistic answer.

He does not deny his longing for the world of education, but the factor of well-being has become his main consideration at this time. "I want it, if the salary is high, yes," he answered briefly but pointedly.

Kiky also jokingly mentioned the transformation of her appearance from a teacher to a famous artist. She compared her image back when she was still teaching with her current appearance, which is bolder and more glamorous on screen.

"This is how it was back in the day when Mom was a teacher. Pious, now it's hot," she joked, which was met with laughter from the media crew.
