However, she did not want to be trapped in excessive fear. For her, if it is indeed her destiny to depart, then the path will always be made easier by God.

"But if it is not safe, not safe for us, there will definitely be something that ends up not happening. Whether it's that the visa doesn't come out or maybe the flight gets canceled," said Kimberly Ryder when met at Soekarno Hatta Airport, Tangerang, Wednesday (3/4/2016).

"So far yes, Alhamdulillah safe, everything is smooth. God willing, we will all depart, and arrive safely, amen," she continued.

Before departing, Kimberly had monitored the situation through a chat group that included her fellow pilgrims. The incoming information did make her hesitant due to the many conflicting news reports regarding the conditions in the air routes.

"One says it's safe, one says it has been canceled. Back and forth on safety, one says it's canceled. Just keeps going back and forth. So it's like, oh well, just leave it to God. It can be done, but don't think too much about it, just relax. Just pray, that's all," she added.

Responding to the recommendations from the authorities regarding the postponement of worship due to security situations, Kimberly remains firm in her stance. As long as the airline and travel agents guarantee departure, she feels there is no reason to cancel her sacred intention.

"For me, I return it to God, and the travel agency also feels safe to proceed with the departure. If it's possible to leave, and the flight is not canceled from their end. Oh okay, then everything is safe, you know," Kimberly explained.
