“Yes, many people say that. Yesterday, sister Melaney Ricardo said, 'for the first one, we can start from scratch, but for the second one, no, Kim. No,'” said Kimberly when met in the area of Jalan Kapten Tendean, Mampang, South Jakarta, Tuesday (17/12/2024).

1. Think About Partner Criteria More Maturely

Kimberly also realizes that the criteria for a partner this time must be thought out carefully. According to her, it’s not just about physical appearance, but also about responsibility towards herself and her two children.

“Yes, we just hope for the best. We also need to be more careful in choosing, because now it’s not just about me, there are two children,” she continued.

Even so, Kimberly admits that taking on the role of a single mother is not easy. However, she tries to balance her time between work and her children.

“Yes, it’s the same. It’s just that right now, if I want to take a job, it’s up to me. But I still think about the children, I don’t have time with the children,” Kimberly revealed.

2. Not Targeting Marriage Again

This makes her quite selective in accepting job offers. Especially for projects that require a lot of time, like soap operas.

"Should I take this or not, the work that I'm still considering. If offered a soap opera, I'm still thinking, 'no, not yet'," she added.

Despite many hopes from the people around her, Kimberly emphasizes that she is not in a hurry when it comes to marriage. For her, getting to know a potential partner well is the most important thing.

"When it comes to marriage, there’s no pressure, but I just need to know the person better," Kimberly concluded.
