“How does it look? It looks good, right?” Kirana said when met in the area of Jalan Kapten Tendean, Mampang, South Jakarta, Monday (17/2/2025).
Kirana explained that the surgery process took quite a long time, but it went smoothly without significant issues.
"The process took 8 hours of work, there was no pain at all. The area taken is just from the ribs in the thread part, like someone who just did 100 push-ups, so it feels a bit sore in the stomach area," said Kirana.
The main reason behind her decision is to improve the shape of her nose, although she emphasizes that it is not driven by a lack of self-confidence.
“I want to be honest, I just want to improve its shape, there’s nothing wrong with that. I know there are many comments saying, ‘It’s already perfect as it is,’ but I think there’s nothing wrong with wanting to be better,” she explained.
Kirana admits that she often chooses certain angles when appearing on screen to disguise the shape of her nose.
“When I post something or used to act in soap operas, I always took angles that didn’t look too crooked. But I know myself and it does look crooked, so when I had the courage and the funds, why not?” she said.
Regarding the cost of the operation, Kirana admitted to spending a considerable budget, although she was reluctant to mention the exact figure. “Draining the budget is all relative. It all depends. At that time it was almost 200 million,” she revealed.
She also emphasized the importance of conducting research before deciding to undergo procedures like this, including choosing a trustworthy doctor and facility.
“All surgeries have risks, especially those that use general anesthesia. So you have to do a lot of research, don’t look for discounts. Who the doctor is, whether the hospital is credible or not, that’s very important,” Kirana stressed.
