"In short, before my father contracted Covid, he had heart and asthma problems," said Bonita after the funeral at TPU Karet Bivak, Central Jakarta, on Tuesday (7/9).
Due to his underlying health conditions, the late father's condition worsened, according to Bonita.
"So when he contracted Covid, his co-morbid asthma was the most severe. There was fluid in the lower left lung near the diaphragm," she said.
"Until now, I myself still don't understand where it came from, how it happened, and whether it can be removed," Bonita added.

Bonita is grateful that her father was able to overcome it all and gradually improve. However, fate had a different plan, and her father was eventually called by God.
"Even though his condition was improving mentally and he appeared to be more fit, it might also be because his wife passed away during the Eid holiday. I think that also deeply affected him," she concluded.
As reported, Koes Hendratmo passed away on Tuesday (7/9/2021) at around 10:00 AM WIB. The body has been buried at TPU Karet Bivak, Central Jakarta, next to the grave of his wife, Aprilia Puspitawati.
