KD started her regular wushu training in 2021. She admitted to practicing wushu during the restrictions on outdoor activities during the Covid-19 pandemic.

"I have indeed been studying for the last three months. So during the PPKM, I exercised for two hours a day. Until my skin burned," said Krisdayanti.

KD can perform every movement for two hours in each training session. The training is also done five times a week regularly and disciplined. KD admitted to being interested in Wushu because of its combination of movements, including incorporating music as accompaniment.

"First, I have been interested in this hobby for over a decade, some artist friends also train. And when I see wushu, the movements are indeed, as it is a martial art, it still has its art," said Krisdayanti via the YouTube channel VDVC Talk.

As a singer, Krisdayanti admits that she usually feels tired after performing five songs. However, after practicing wushu, she feels more secure and fluent because her breathing is more regulated.
