Getting the Role of a Mother, Michelle Ziudith Suddenly Feels Ready to Marry

A role in a film can bring about a significant change in an actress's perspective on life. This is what Michelle Ziudith felt after immersing herself in her character as a mother in the latest film DO NOT CALL MOM A KAFIR. Surprisingly, this experience made her feel ready to take the step towards marriage.

When met at the Gala Premiere of her film at XXI Epicentrum, South Jakarta, on Monday (13/10/2025), Michelle did not deny that portraying a mother was the toughest challenge she had ever faced in her career. She admitted that she had never once imagined herself in such a role in real life.

"I myself have never thought at all and picturing myself as a mother," Michelle revealed.

This challenge became more real when the director, Yoka, made a special request that became a burden for her. The request demanded her to be a true mother in front of the camera.

"Mr. Yoka said, 'Michelle, I really need you to be a mother who is truly a mother, a real mother.' I think that is a very heavy quote that I will carry," she recalled.

To reach that level, the 30-year-old actress had to start from scratch. She built her emotions from the process of falling in love, giving birth to that love, until she could finally pour her genuine affection to the child in her role.

"I have to start from the process of how I fell in love first, so that I can give birth to that love, so that I can pour that affection into the person who is my own child," he explained.

Who would have thought, this intense character development process actually awakens the maternal instinct within him. He discovers a feeling where he is willing to trade his life for his child, a realization he never imagined before.

"Suddenly that feeling came out, suddenly I might even be willing to trade my life for my child like that," he said.

This feeling ultimately changed his perspective completely. The role of Maria seems to be a preparation and a strengthening of his heart to be ready to become a mother and a wife in real life.

"Oh I am ready to be a mother. I feel like I am ready to get married anytime," she said with a laugh, giving a strong signal that she is now open to building a household.
