Ratu Rafa Performs Her Own Dangerous Action Scenes in 'JANUR IRENG'

Kapanlagi.com - Newcomer actress Ratu Rafa demonstrates her dedication to acting in the highly anticipated horror film, JANUR IRENG. Playing the role of Intan, a key character in the prequel SEWU DINO, Ratu Rafa did not hesitate to perform her own dangerous action scenes without the help of a stunt double.

This decision even earned praise from her co-star, renowned actor Marthino Lio. Marthino recounted a complex scene where Ratu had to run, jump, and even lock her opponent's neck, all of which she executed very well on her own.

1. Do It Yourself

"What impresses me is one of the scenes related to the action, where Ratu does it herself," praised Marthino Lio when met at MD Place, Kuningan, South Jakarta, on Monday (13/10/2025).

Ratu Rafa admitted that the initiative to perform the action scene came from herself. After undergoing intensive training for a month, she felt capable and confident to execute the scene for optimal results.

"I wanted to do it myself, Kak. Yes, I wanted to do it myself and thankfully I was able to fulfill all of that," Ratu Rafa expressed.

However, her dedication did not come without risks. Marthino Lio recounted an incident during training where Ratu suffered a bruise on her rib due to taking the wrong angle of attack.

"She was trying to do this and that, but she took the wrong angle, and 'bang', it turned blue right here," recalled Marthino.

4. It Didn't Feel Like Anything at First

"When it was happening, I didn't feel anything at all, but then it felt strange and hurt a bit, and suddenly there was a bump here that got big," Ratu added.

5. Portraying Intan

In this film, Ratu plays the character Intan, who has two personalities. This becomes a challenge for her, as she has to transform from a calm figure to a brutal one.

"I actually become two figures, yes, personalities. One is the calm Intan, and the other is the brutal one," she explained.
