Sule Trauma Seeing His Friends Divorced, Now More Selective in Choosing a Partner

"How can I get married again? Other people are getting divorced, am I supposed to get married? Of course not!" said Sule when met in the Kebon Jeruk area, West Jakarta, some time ago.

This experience, combined with the failure of his own marriage in the past, has made him much more cautious. For him, the decision to marry again is not something that can be taken lightly and requires very deep consideration. "This means I have to think carefully about the future," he asserted.

The 47-year-old comedian realizes that finding a partner who is truly sincere and willing to accompany him until the end of his life is not an easy matter. He is looking for someone with a hundred percent commitment, a criterion that has now become non-negotiable for him.

"When we meet someone, it doesn’t necessarily mean that our partner will take care of us one hundred percent until we are old," he explained.

Therefore, Sule chose not to impose his will. He now entrusts the matter of finding a soulmate to the Creator, while continuing to enjoy his role as a father and focusing on his health, which had declined.

Nevertheless, Sule does not completely close his heart. He remains open to the possibility that God may bring him together with the right person someday.

"Let’s just wait for God. If God gives someone to take care of us, then alhamdulillah; if not, just enjoy it," he concluded wisely.
