After watching the final result, she admitted to being very impressed with the neat storyline and the chilling atmosphere that felt so real.

She expressed her praise at the Press Conference for the Official Poster and Trailer Release of THE THIRD FIGURE: LINTRIK in the Cikini area, Central Jakarta, on Thursday (10/9/2025).

According to Luna, one of the film's greatest strengths, directed by Fajar Nugros, is its ability to draw the audience into the lives of its characters. She feels that the terror presented is not forced and feels very natural.

"What interests me is that when watching the film, it feels like we are in their lives, brought directly into their reality," said Luna Maya.

1. The Phenomenon of Infidelity on TikTok

Furthermore, this top actress highlights the relevance of the film's story to the social phenomenon that is currently rampant, especially regarding infidelity or the act of stealing someone else's partner (pelakor) that often goes viral on social media like TikTok.

"Because, that kind of thing happens a lot in society. If we look at TikTok, suddenly someone goes, 'Hey, pelakor!' like that. I feel like, 'Wow, this...' What is it? It’s the cry from the heart of a wife just like those on TikTok," she stated.

2. Close to Reality

According to her, the background of the marital conflict wrapped in mysticism in this film feels very close to reality. This makes the horror that is built feel more personal and allows the audience to also feel the depression experienced by the main character.

"The background of these events feels so natural. Yes. It’s not made up, 'Hah, hah, hah,' not like that, but it really feels like we are entering their world and the terror is very palpable," Luna explained.

Not only that, Luna also revealed that this film has a twist that is completely unexpected. She admitted to being so shocked that she was left speechless when watching the end of the story.

In line with Luna, producer Agung Saputra added that this film is not just an ordinary horror.

"Sosok Ketiga: Lintrik is not just a horror film, but part of an exploration of the mysterious phenomena in Indonesia about Lintrik, household, trauma, loneliness, and the feeling of loss wrapped in a haunting mystical atmosphere," he concluded.

5. Initially Refused to Be a Producer

This 42-year-old actress and model admitted that she almost missed the opportunity to collaborate with another producer for a very personal and intriguing reason. Initially, Luna Maya explained that the collaboration offer from producer Agung Saputra had come since the previous film project.

However, at that time she had to honestly decline because she was preparing funds for a big plan in her life.

"So actually if asked, this is a way back before Sosok Ketiga. I was actually going to collaborate on Jalan Pulang. But at that time, I said, 'Sir, I am about to get married'," Luna Maya revealed.

6. The Offer Comes Back

However, fate had other plans. When the offer came back for the project SOSOK KETIGA: LINTRIK, Luna did not think twice. Especially after learning that Fajar Nugros was the director and reading the synopsis of the story which she found very promising.

"Next, the story tells about Sosok Ketiga: Lintrik, and Nugros is directing it. I also got to read a bit of the script, you know. Because it was shown to me, and I said the synopsis and everything was very interesting," she explained.

Six months after the wedding, Andin (Adinda Thomas) begins to feel that something is wrong in her marriage. From the start, Uncle Bagyo (Nugie) had suspected that the marriage was too rushed. Together with Amara (Adzwa Aurel), Andin's sister who inherited the family's ancestral knowledge, they often find strange signs that send shivers down their spines.

That suspicion is finally answered. It is revealed that Aryo (Wafda Saifan), Andin's husband, has secretly been having an affair with Naura (Aulia Sarah), a wealthy woman in their town. Naura not only wants to have Aryo but also uses the Lintrik spell, a deadly mystical power, to completely take Aryo away from Andin.
