Yono Bakrie, Ardit Erwandha, and Beni Siregar Reveal the Challenges of Filming 'PESUGIHAN SATE GAGAK'

Kapanlagi.com - Comedians Ardit Erwandha, Yono Bakrie, and Beni Siregar have been cast as the main stars in the horror comedy film PESUGIHAN SATE GAGAK. The three of them shared stories about the excitement and challenges during the filming process.

Yono Bakrie admitted that he had difficulty maintaining a serious demeanor on set because the atmosphere often turned into one full of jokes.

"We mostly get angry; when we have a serious scene, he keeps joking around. When he (Beni) has a serious scene, we joke and he (Beni) gets mad, 'don’t do that, don’t do that,'" said Yono in the GBK area, Senayan, Central Jakarta, Saturday (11/10/2025).

Meanwhile, Ardit Erwandha mentioned that he had to work hard to stay focused amid the antics of his two co-stars.

"I have to keep up with this cartoon," joked Ardit, describing how difficult it was to maintain a serious face during the scenes.

1. Hard to Hold Back Laughter

In line with Yono Bakrie, Beni Siregar admitted that his biggest challenge during filming was holding back laughter while acting with his two friends.

"My challenge is to hold back laughter, because I can hold back laughter with my own jokes, but with friends I'm already close to, looking at their faces, I can't," said Beni.

2. Roles

In the film PESUGIHAN SATE GAGAK, Ardit, Beni, and Yono play three friends with unique backgrounds and problems. Ardit plays Anto, a cook who is forced to find shortcuts to meet the large dowry from his future in-laws.

Yono Bakrie plays Dimas, a young man tired of being forced by his parents to help sell women's underwear. Meanwhile, Benny Siregar plays Indra, a friend who has knowledge about the ritual of pesugihan from his grandfather and is trapped in online loan debt.

3. Brief Synopsis

The film GAGAK SATAY WEALTH tells the story of three friends who are desperate with their economic conditions and eventually get entangled in a wealth ritual using crow meat satay.

Initially bringing profit, it later poses a threat from supernatural beings who become their customers. The story of Gagak Satay Wealth is inspired by the belief in wealth rituals that are still known in several regions. This film is scheduled to premiere in theaters starting November 13, 2025.
