Kapanlagi.com - FTV artist Lady Marsella responds to allegations made by ASL businessman who referred to her as a fraud in relation to the Surat Perintah Kerja (SPK) project for Rp 60 billion Covid-19 social aid funds in DKI Jakarta. She considers it as a lot of slander and defamation of character that leads to character assassination based on what ASL has stated.
"I want to clarify the allegations that I am a fraud in the social aid project worth 60 billion. This is slander, defamation of good name, and public deception towards me," said Lady Marsella in Sunter, North Jakarta, on Monday (28/8/2023).

Lady Marsella said that the case has actually been decided by the Central Jakarta District Court with two convicts.
"It has been final since May 30, 2022 in the Central Jakarta District Court regarding the fraud of the SPK with convicts RHM and FR. It means it is clear who committed the fraud of the 60 billion social assistance SPK and it has been proven legally," said Lady Marsella.

Regarding the accusation that she received Rp 3 billion from ASL as an advance payment to obtain the SPK by guaranteeing four of her car BPKB, Lady Marsella denied it. She claimed that she never received any money from ASL in the amount of Rp 3 billion.
"I never received it, I didn't even touch it," said Lady Marsella.
Furthermore, regarding the car BPKB, she has reported ASL for embezzlement and document forgery on February 21, 2022. Lady then withdrew her report after her BPKB was returned.
"Why did I report it? Because ASL had no good intentions. I even sent a warning letter to ASL in October 2021. But in the end, I withdrew the report, not SP3. Because on January 20, 2023, my loss was returned by ASL and I have forgiven the accused of embezzlement named ASL," she explained.
"So don't say that I borrowed 3 billion, I swear to Allah I didn't borrow a single penny. But why is this collateral (BPKB) in my possession? Just think logically, is it possible that I haven't returned the 3 billion but this collateral is in my possession," she continued.
Lady Marsella does not let accusations that label her as a fraudster go easily. She claims to have a lot of evidence that she is not what she is accused of.
"Don't immediately say that I am the culprit, don't immediately accuse me of being a fraudster. Please, I have a child and a family, I also have a long career, so don't spread baseless slander. Alhamdulillah, I have videos and evidence that I can prove according to the time and place of the incident," she said.
Just for information, this case started from a collaboration plan between Lady Marsella's company, PT Marsella Cahya Permata, and ASL regarding the Surat Perintah Kerja (SPK) project for DKI Jakarta's Rp 60 billion COVID-19 social assistance funds.
