Last Effort to Fight for Children's Rights, Amalia Fujiawati Reports Bambang Pamungkas to the Police

Kapanlagi.com - Amalia Fujiawati reported football player Bambang Pamungkas to the Jakarta Metro Police with allegations of child neglect on Thursday (2/12/2021). Amalia's report is stated in the report number LP/B/6039/XII/2021/SPKT/Jakarta Metro Police.

In the report file, Amalia implicated Bambang Pamungkas with Article 76B in conjunction with Article 77B of the Child Protection Law. "Today we decided to make a report to the Jakarta Metro Police regarding the (alleged violation) of Article 76B in conjunction with 77B. In essence, there is child neglect, which is a criminal offense punishable by a maximum of five years in prison and a fine of Rp100 million," said Ali Nurdin, Amalia Fujiawati's legal representative, after filing the police report.

Ali Nurdin stated that this report is another form of Amalia Fujiawati's efforts to fight for her child's future, which is not recognized by Bambang Pamungkas. "So this is another effort made by Amalia as a mother. She doesn't expect financial support from the father, nor does she expect an inheritance from him. She only hopes that this is done as an effort to fulfill her children's administrative rights in the future," he explained.

Ali Nurdin further stated that this report is also the last effort from Amalia Fujiawati. Previously, Amalia had filed a lawsuit against Bambang Pamungkas at the South Jakarta Religious Court.

"Actually, this is the last legal step. Because at the beginning of the communication, we have invited (BP) but received no response, then filed a lawsuit in the religious court and now it is in the appeal process. But there is absolutely no good faith from there. So this is the last legal step that we will take," said Ali Nurdin.

Amalia also hopes that her last effort will yield results. "I hope that with this report, the response from Mr. Bepe will be positive, he can think more clearly, and with all humility, acknowledge that he is the father," she said.

It should be noted, Amalia Fujiawati has gained attention for claiming to be Bambang Pamungkas' former secret wife. She stated that she married Bambang Pamungkas in a religious ceremony in May 2018. From that marriage, Amalia Fujiawati has one child who was born on February 24, 2019, named Renansya Ayu Anjani.

However, on December 27, 2020, Bambang Pamungkas divorced Amalia and before the divorce happened, Amalia claimed to be pregnant with a child from the man familiarly called Bepe.

Amalia then tried to fight for her child's rights to be recognized as the biological child and to receive child support from Bambang Pamungkas by filing a lawsuit in the South Jakarta Religious Court on March 18, 2021. Unfortunately, her lawsuit was rejected.
