Kapanlagi.com - Kasiman or the actor Koh Ahong in the soap opera SI DOEL ANAK SEKOLAHAN passed away due to a stroke on Tuesday (13/6). Before passing away, the 68-year-old had conveyed his last will to his wife, Santi, about his burial place.
"Yes, it's true that it was his will before he got sick. He asked to be buried in Meruyung. Koh Ahong had given the message three months ago, that if anything happened to me, please do it all, that was his message," said Santi when met at the funeral home in Cinere, Depok, West Java, on Tuesday (13/6).

Santi also explained the reason why Koh Ahong wanted to be buried in Meruyung because he used to live in the area and te
"Maybe because our housing complex (back then) was in front of the grave, so maybe he wanted it that way, we have a family grave in Parung but he didn't want it and insisted on being buried in Meruyung," said Santi.
In addition, the area was also previously a brick factory owned by Ahong which was later used as one of the shooting locations for the soap opera SI DOEL ANAK SEKOLAHAN. In front of the brick factory, there happened to be a waqf land. This was also told by Rano Karno.
"So there was a complex before it became this complex which was Ahong's brick factory, so Si Doel was shooting there, this waqf land is not common. What surprised me was that Santi said Ahong asked to be buried here, meaning he felt close to the community here. This is now part of Koh Ahong's history," explained Rano Karno.
The family and Rano Karno are grateful that Koh Ahong's wish to be buried in Meruyung has been fulfilled and allowed by the surrounding community.
"I thank the people here, because waqf land is limited, if someone is buried here, it cannot be public. But it means Alhamdulillah it can be accepted. I contacted the RT and RW authorities for permission to bury him here," concluded Rano Karno.
