Latest Single ADA Band with Indra Sinaga, the New Vocalist who Feels Burdened

Kapanlagi.com - In early 2020, Indra Sinaga or better known as Naga caused a stir in the Indonesian music industry. Suddenly, he left the band Lyla and became the vocalist of ADA Band. Of course, Naga's decision surprised many people, especially fans of Lyla and ADA Band.

Naga said that the transition from being the vocalist of Lyla to ADA Band was not a coincidence. There was a long process until he became the permanent vocalist of ADA Band.

"The process started in 2019 when Ada Band featured Naga. Then in January 2020, it became official that I joined ADA Band. To be honest, the discussions were quite intense, I talked to my friends in Lyla, and had discussions with the ADA Band members. Basically, the first person who approached me to become the vocalist of ADA Band was Mas Dika," said Naga during a virtual press conference on Saturday (26/12/2020).

1. Feeling Burdened

At the end of 2020, ADA Band once again brought new excitement by releasing a single titled Tak Lagi Cinta (No Longer in Love). This is ADA Band's first single after having a new vocalist.

Initially, Naga felt burdened when becoming ADA Band's vocalist. However, with the support from ADA Band's members and fans, Naga was able to perform with confidence and release a new single with the new band.

"I did feel burdened at first. ADA Band has a long history and has Indonesian music enthusiasts, so there are definitely higher expectations from ADA Band listeners regarding the new vocalist, which becomes a burden for me. But thankfully, everyone supported me and I finally dared to do it. Until now, releasing the first single," said Naga.

2. Most Ready for Naga

Single Tak Lagi Cinta tells the story of someone who believes they will always be able to love their lover until the end of their life. However, the hope for happiness disappears because the lover chooses to leave.

"Indeed, this song is the most ready to be with Naga. Indeed, yesterday Naga had difficulties in ADA Band. Maybe we have to get rid of a little Naga in Lyla, but also don't let Naga be like Doni. Alhamdulillah, now I can represent ADA Band," said Doni, the drummer of ADA Band.

3. Daringly Original

Although a new vocalist, ADA Band's distinctive style is still very evident in the music arrangement and notation in this single. Naga's vocals and singing style also sound different compared to when Naga sang it as a soloist.

"We have to dare to be as original as possible, if successful and become a role model for other bands, that would be great. Maybe now we're focusing on the 80s. But actually, what's important in composition is that the food is delicious. So, if the 80s are comfortable to listen to, but for the current era, it's also delicious, so the industry is like that," concluded Adi.
