Living Life with Spreading Cancer Cells, Vidi Calls Sheila Dara's Presence a Miracle

Kapanlagi.com - Singer Vidi is known to have stage three kidney cancer in 2019. After his left kidney was removed, it turns out that the cancer cells returned to the same place.

The news that she is still fighting against cancer, which was uploaded on social media, shocked many people. This fact made Vidi realize that the disease that is gnawing at her body is not widely known.

"In my mind, people know that I am still sick. Apparently not. And I received a lot of unexpected responses. My WhatsApp didn't stop ringing, even from my friends," said Vidi as quoted from a statement on Deddy Corbuzier's YouTube channel, Wednesday (11/10/2023).

1. Growing Cancer Cells in the Same Place

The kidney cancer disease that resides in Vidi's body is considered aggressive by the doctors. After it was found to have returned to the same place in 2021, the cells have now spread, so Vidi has to undergo immunotherapy treatment every three weeks.

"In 2020, I was safe and still healthy, trying to get back to the old me. Then in 2021, during a check-up, it was found again in the same place, in my kidney. The type of cancer is the same. Since 2021, I have been doing a 'spa day' until today. The condition now is spreading. I've been living with this cancer," said Vidi.

2. Sheila Dara is a Miracle

In the battle against kidney cancer, Vidi is grateful to have a life partner like Sheila Dara. He even refers to his wife's presence as a miracle.

"My wife is amazing. You know, I proposed to my wife with all the probabilities. And she still accepts me until now. Sheila's existence in my life is a miracle. There are sane people who are willing to be with someone like me. All possibilities exist, but the struggle is not easy. Since 2021, I rarely have more than four healthy days," said Vidi.
