Lucky Hakim Admits Selling House and Pets Not Because of High Political Needs

Kapanlagi.com - Artis Lucky Hakim plans to sell his house after being inaugurated as the deputy regent of Indramayu. During his stay in Indramayu, Lucky Hakim has provided a place to live in an apartment. The apartment is occupied when his family comes to Indramayu.

"Maybe I'll sell the house, I have an apartment, so I can live there. The house will be sold and there won't be any pets. So, I'll mostly be in Jakarta and only meet my child on weekends. He will also come to Indramayu frequently. So, the apartment is just for staying. I'll just use the apartment," said Lucky Hakim on Trans TV, South Jakarta, Wednesday (5/1/2021).

1. Already Sold Some of His Animals

Previously, Lucky Hakim has sold some of his pets. He reasoned that selling his beloved animals was not because of political costs during campaigning in Indramayu. Instead, some of the animals were sold for family needs.

"Yes, most of them were sold. Not because of the high political costs, but because I didn't live in Indramayu yesterday. So, I looked for money as an actor. Since I wasn't filming yesterday, I sold many animals to support my family," he said.

2. One of the Celebrities Who Keeps Animals

Besides being an artist with acting skills, Lucky Hakim is also known as one of the celebrities who keeps animals. According to Lucky, keeping animals is not just a hobby, but it can also be used for investment purposes.

"Those pets are an investment, so when I buy them for 10 million, I can sell them for 15 to 20 million," concluded Lucky Hakim.

3. Transparent Personal Assets

In addition, as a regional head, Lucky Hakim is truly transparent, especially regarding personal assets. Even before taking office, all of Lucky Hakim's assets have been accounted for. This is done to avoid any suspicion after becoming a regional head.

"All of my assets can be checked at the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), and I am grateful that everything is recorded, all of my wealth, even my motorcycle and TV are recorded. So, there should be no lack of transparency. Because tomorrow we will be paid using public funds," said Lucky Hakim.

"So, the people must know how much salary a regent receives, how much their income is. It shouldn't be the case that after becoming a regent, for example, my money is only 10-20 billion, but in a year as a regent, my money becomes 100 billion. The question of where it comes from must be able to be explained," concluded Lucky Hakim.
