Starting their story of being alay in their youth, Luna Maya admitted that she often rode a motorcycle wearing a Balinese kebaya to avoid being fined by the police. Instead of going to a place of worship, Luna Maya and her friends just wanted to go around and look at handsome guys.

"Sometimes we also wanted to ride a motorcycle, but in Bali, if we wear traditional Balinese clothes, there are sometimes exceptions, you know. It means we are exempted from wearing a helmet," Luna Maya said.

2. Going Around in a Car

Not only that, Luna Maya and her gang also once went around Kuta in a car with an open trunk and accompanied by loud music. They admitted that they could fit up to 11 people in one sedan.

Luna Maya and her gang felt cool going around in a car and sitting in a row at the back of the car. This memory became a valuable one that they can proudly tell again.

3. Trendy in Its Time

When Luna Maya was still a teenager, it turns out that the trendiest hangout place for young people was fast food restaurants and entertainment centers. Ice cream, which was still priced at Rp 500 at that time, was the perfect companion to spend Saturday nights with friends.

"So, every Saturday night, we wanted to hang out at McDonald's and Timezone," Luna Maya recalled.
