Maia Estianty Tells the Chronology of How She Tested Positive for Covid-19

Kapanlagi.com - A surprising news came from Maia Estianty. Recently, the mother of Al Ghazali, El Rumi, and Dul Jaelani made a statement that she had been exposed to the Covid-19 virus, precisely after undergoing a PCR SWAB test on December 20, 2020.

Maia made the confession in one of the video posts on Maia Al El Dul's YouTube channel. The wife of Irwan Mussry then recounted the chronology of how she contracted Covid-19.

"Let me tell you. On Thursday (12/17), I took the SWAB test and the result was negative. Then I went out for dinner with my friends. At that time, I also took an antigen SWAB test and the antigen result was also negative. After that, three days later, because I had an obligation to take another SWAB test for the needs of shooting as a judge on Indonesian Idol, I took the SWAB test again on Sunday (12/20). At that time, I was diagnosed positive for Covid and I was shocked, because just last Thursday it was still negative," Maia explained.

1. Self-Isolation in Al Ghazali's Room

After being tested positive for Covid-19, Maia chose to undergo self-isolation in her son's room, Al Ghazali. However, it should be noted that this Surabaya-born woman did not experience any symptoms such as cough, fever, runny nose, or any other illness at that time.

"I decided to self-isolate at home, in Al Ghazali's empty room. There's a laptop, computer, TV, and a balcony outside. So I stayed here for 3 days until the next swab test, to see if the condition becomes more positive or negative," explained Maia.

2. Finally Tested Negative

A day after being tested positive for Covid-19, Maia decided to undergo another CPR swab test. And the result showed negative. It means that the Covid-19 virus only briefly visited her.

"Apparently, the virus died from my body within 24 hours. Can you believe it? I was amazed at how fast it happened. Maybe my immune system is like Superman's, so it only allowed the virus to visit," concluded Maia.
