Vina Panduwinata Creates Personal Instagram During the Covid-19 Pandemic, Keeping Up with the Times

Kapanlagi.com - Senior singer Vina Panduwinata has just created a personal Instagram account named @vinapanduwinata_real. The account was created around May 2020 during the early days of the pandemic. This is the only Instagram account that is directly managed by the singer of the song September Ceria. 

"Yes, it's just me. The Vina Panduwinata Official account has been managed by management for years. It used to use my middle name, Mamah Ina. Then Armand told me not to use my middle name and to use Vina Panduwinata so that I can do swipe up," said Vina Panduwinata on Trans TV, South Jakarta, Wednesday (23/12/2020).

1. Outside of Work

Unlike Mama Ina's Instagram account managed by management, there she posts various activities, especially in terms of work. However, for the new account, Mama Ina prefers to share her everyday photos outside of work.

"Because I'm just starting to understand, that's why I didn't share anything before because I wanted to know how it would affect others. If the influence is not good, let's not do it, or maybe on special days like Mother's Day, Mama will post," she said.

2. Changes in 2020

Mama Ina said that having a personal Instagram account has been a change she experienced in 2020.

"So that's the change in 2020, Mama immersed herself in understanding how social media works, and thankfully, the positive side is that Mama can understand the younger generation," she said.

3. Youtube Account?

After Instagram, Mama Ina was also asked to have her own YouTube account. However, Mama Ina herself has not thought about creating a YouTube account like other singers. Until now, Mama Ina still wants to focus on her career as a singer.

4. Just Focus on Performing

"Actually, I've been wanting to be made this and that by my friends for a long time, but how should I say it, I want to, but more towards the Close Friend band group. Personally, Mama doesn't want it yet, until now she still wants to focus on performing," Mama Ina concluded.
