This unpleasant news was confirmed by Susanto, the head of RW 011 Kutilang Depok Jaya, the location of Mamah Dedeh's residence. Susanto himself learned that his resident was infected with Covid-19 on Friday (11/13).

"I was called by her child, her closest sibling, on Friday, Friday morning. 'Mr. RW, I apologize, but Mamah is positive, like that. She is currently being treated in the hospital," said Susanto, as quoted from the YouTube channel TRANS7 Lifestyle.

1. Disinfection Conducted

Mamah Dedeh's residence appears empty since being declared positive for Covid-19. To prevent further spread in the area of Mamah Dedeh's residence, disinfection is being carried out with disinfectant fluid by the local authorities.

"After hearing the news about Mamah, we as the authorities in this RW took action. We reported it to the Satgas section at the Community Health Center. Alhamdulillah, they responded well, promptly, and they collected data. Then we, as the authorities, immediately disinfected her house," said the RW head.

2. Assistant Also Positive

Not only Mamah Dedeh, it turns out that this preacher's assistant from Ciamis was also declared positive for Covid-19 one day later. For your information, Mamah Dedeh does live with her assistant.

"He is also positive. Mamah called, 'please check on him, because he is also not feeling well.' Coincidentally, on Saturday, maybe the test result came out, declared positive, immediately treated, isolated as well," said Susanto.

Responding to the widespread news about Mamah Dedeh, the family also spoke out. When contacted by phone, Mamah Dedeh's child revealed that her mother is in good condition and asked for prayers for her recovery.

"Just pray, hopefully she will recover quickly if she's sick. Alhamdulillah, mom is fine, so just pray for her to recover quickly. Asking for prayers from everyone," said Mamah Dedeh's child.
