Mandra Hasn't Thought About His Children Getting Married, Education is the Main Priority

Kapanlagi.com - As a father, Mandra admits he hasn't thought about his children starting families. For him, the main focus right now is to ensure his children's education is going well.

"I haven't thought about it until now, meaning we never know what the future holds. What’s certain is that right now they are still kids, regardless of that issue," said Mandra when met in the Kapten Tendean area, Mampang, South Jakarta, recently.

Mandra emphasizes the importance of education for his children. He has one main message that he always conveys, which is to finish their education as high as possible before thinking about other things.

"But at the very least, I only ask for one thing, you should study properly, go to college, school, if necessary finish your bachelor's degree, up to master's degree, something like that," he said.

1. Higher Education is Still Necessary

Mandra also disagrees with the view that higher education is unnecessary, especially for girls. He wants his children to achieve whatever they want in the world of education.

"As long as she still has the ability and desire for education, go ahead. Don't be so old-fashioned, 'why bother with high education, they will just become housewives later', no, no," he asserted.

2. Support for Education

As a father, Mandra feels the need to support every desire of his children related to education. As long as his children have the enthusiasm to learn, he will always support them.

"As long as the child has the ability and desire, go for it. And the father has the ability to finance the child," said Mandra.

He also revealed that currently some of his children are pursuing education in various fields. Although they are different, he is still proud to see their seriousness.

"Honestly, there are quite a few children who are in college now, even though their majors are different," he expressed.

According to Mandra, education not only provides knowledge but also opens opportunities and shapes the character of his children. Therefore, he continues to encourage them not to stop learning.
