Mark Sungkar Reveals Why Shireen Sungkar Got Angry Because of a Younger Wife?

"If her father rejects it, it means he objects. From objections (he kept saying) wait until 20 years, (so) she works after graduating from high school (still) at 16 years old. Now when proposing, this is funny, I proposed briefly. When asked what I wanted, I said 'Allow me to make your child happy,'" she continued.

2. Facing Rejection

Mark himself faced rejection from his children, especially Shireen and the late Jamilah Sungkar. Mark convinced his children that Santi is the right person for him.

"Three of them protested. Oh, Zaskia didn't, she wanted to make the wedding dress. Especially Jamilah who kept protesting and Shireen too. They said 'Isn't there anyone older?' They were afraid it would break in the middle of the road. (They gave in) I convinced them 'What I am doing is praying for only one thing, Oh Allah, give me one righteous wife who can bring happiness to us in this world and the hereafter,'" he concluded.
