In the midst of his busy schedule, Maxime Bouttier took the time to pay his respects. Through his emotional post, Maxime shared a moment of visiting the grave of his mother, Siti Purwanti, right on the anniversary of her passing.
In this touching moment, Luna Maya's husband expressed that this is the second year his mom has been gone, but his longing for her has never diminished even a little.
"Today is mom's birthday. And this is the second year mom is no longer here," said Maxime Bouttier in his post while holding the gravestone of his late mother.
Maxime admits that he thinks about his mother every day. He misses the simple moments that used to mean so much, from chatting together, going to the cinema, to sharing stories about his shooting activities.
"Maxime always misses and always thinks about mom. How much Maxime misses our chats. Going to the movies together, sharing about Maxime's shooting days. I wish you were here to see me as a married man, cooking together with Maxime and Luna," continued Maxime.
"Look at Elodie's child and one day call me grandma. But I know you are watching over us, as you always do. Maxime will always do his best for Mom, sincerely and honestly as you taught Mom," Maxime said sincerely.
"I love you so much Ma. And Maxime believes that mom is in a very peaceful place, because you deserve nothing more than peace and love all around. Happy Birthday Mama," concluded Maxime full of longing.
Maxime's mother, Siti Purwanti, passed away on January 14, 2024, and was buried at Jeruk Purut Cemetery, South Jakarta.
The departure of his mother at that time was a deep sorrow for Maxime, especially because he was known to have a very close relationship with his late mother.
