Mediation Failed, Ari Wibowo Says Separation from Inge Anugrah Has Children's Approval

Kapanlagi.com - Mediation between artist Ari Wibowo and Inge Anugrah during their divorce hearing at the South Jakarta District Court failed. The father of two children stated that if they had already agreed with Inge to end their 17-year marriage.

"The reason why the mediation failed is that the purpose of mediation is to see if we can still reconcile, if we can still talk. There was a discussion to reach a consensus and make peace, maybe we can try again," said Ari after the hearing on Monday (29/5/2023).

Before undergoing mediation during the hearing, Ari admitted that he had already tried to discuss his marriage with Inge again. Even their two children were involved until they finally agreed to separate.

"But actually, in terms of my wife and I, from the beginning, we have already discussed it. We have involved our children and talked to them. Actually, from the beginning, Inge and I, with the approval of the children, have already agreed to separate," said Ari.

"So, from the beginning, this mediation is just a formality that needs to be carried out. Inge's legal counsel once said that if I didn't file for divorce, Inge would. We do have an agreement to separate," Ari added.

Ari said the reason for involving his children in the decision to separate from Inge was to teach them to always express the truth and never lie.

2. Going Well

"This has been with their agreement, they already knew they would separate, they themselves have chosen who to follow and I think in the future we will try to give the best for the children with all our shortcomings as parents," said Ari.

Although his household with Inge ended, Ari did not want his children to lose the love from both parents. That's why he wants this divorce to go as smoothly as possible.

"With this separation, we still try to provide the most peaceful and harmonious atmosphere that we can give, even though we live in different houses between me and Inge," he concluded.
