Kapanlagi.com - Tengku Dewi Putri revealed that the mediation of her divorce with Andrew Andika did not yield results for reconciliation. Although the mediator tried to help them make peace, Dewi emphasized that they no longer see the possibility of being together again.
"If there's no reconciliation, it means it's a failure, right? Just pray for us, friends, hopefully this is the best for me and Andrew," Dewi stated at the Cibinong Religious Court, Bogor, Wednesday (13/11/2024).
Their mediation is considered a failure because there is no desire to repair the marriage. Although they ultimately agreed to separate, Dewi and Andrew underwent a lengthy mediation process.
During the session, both opened up various grievances they had been holding back. "The reason it took so long is actually because we really had to express our feelings heart to heart, from my side, and from Andrew's side as well," Dewi explained.
The mediator in this session, according to Dewi, also tried to make them reconsider their decision to divorce. "The mediator himself tried as much as possible to mediate us so that there wouldn't be a divorce," she added.
However, Dewi emphasizes that she and Andrew have discussed this decision thoroughly. In fact, they even attempted to reconcile with a familial approach, but still did not find a solution to save their marriage.
"We have also explained to the mediator that we have tried to mediate ourselves in a familial manner and did not find a way out," said Dewi.
Dewi explains that the decision to separate was made without any resentment or hatred. She and Andrew are committed to going through this divorce process amicably, without drama.
"And we both agree to go through this process without drama, hate, resentment, and to do it well," she asserted.
According to Dewi, the decision to move on to the next stage in this divorce process was made after all efforts to communicate and find a mutual solution proved fruitless.
"Until we get a decision, okay means we move to the next step," she asserted.
Dewi hopes the public can support this decision as the best step for both of them. For her, the decision to separate is the most realistic way to bring peace to each party.
