Kapanlagi.com - Meggy Wulandari has officially filed for divorce from her husband, Kiwil, at the Cibinong Religious Court, Bogor, West Java, on Tuesday (18/2) afternoon. Kiwil's second wife came accompanied by her legal counsel, Soraya.
This news is quite surprising to many, considering that Meggy and Kiwil's relationship has rarely been hit by scandal. Whatever the reason, Meggy is determined to end this relationship.
"Yes, today is just the registration for the divorce lawsuit. It's just the registration, Meggy is determined with her decision (to divorce)," said Soraya, Meggy Wulandari's legal counsel.
Unlike Meggy, it seems that Kiwil has not yet made a decision regarding his desire to divorce his wife. According to Soraya, the 47-year-old comedian does not want to separate from Meggy Wulandari.
"The last thing I heard was that he (Kiwil) hasn't decided yet, doesn't want to divorce or separate from Meggy," said Soraya.
From the circulating news, Meggy filed for divorce without Kiwil's knowledge. Of course, this surprised the man whose real name is Wildan Delta.

In her divorce petition, Meggy also included matters regarding child custody and marital assets. However, it should be noted that before that, Meggy and Kiwil still have to go through a mediation process.
"According to the law, underage children follow their mother. (For child custody) Not yet, it's still a long time until mediation," she continued.
"It seems that the process will take around 2 weeks or one month, because Meggy and Kiwil are not in the same region, it depends on the court," Soraya concluded.
