"It was exciting because it was my first time in China. A lot of people say that China is cool, advanced, and not like the China that people usually know. But when I got there, it turned out to be a fun experience because they are indeed 10 times more advanced compared to our country," explained Meisya Siregar as reported by Detik.com.

"Because I feel very safe there, everywhere is cheap, taking a taxi no matter how far it doesn't reach Rp100 thousand. And the city is also clean," she said.

Even so, she also highlighted the shortcomings of China. "The downside is that the bathrooms don't have bidets, and there are mostly squat toilets. But it's still forgivable. If we go to places like hotels or malls, it's just like in Jakarta, so it also depends on the area we visit," she said while laughing.

Furthermore, Meisya also observed the business in China. "And the city is beautiful because they are bold with the main lights. What’s impressive is that Guangzhou is the business center of China. So actually, if I want to take my family, it would be better to go to Shanghai. But actually, Guangzhou is the business hub, so whatever you want to find is really there. Amazing," she said.

Interestingly, she had planned to do business at the Canton Fair but that plan completely failed. "Actually, the initial plan was just me and Bebi along with my brother to go to the Canton Fair. Every year they have the Canton Fair moment. So, people from all over the world come to the Canton Fair to look for vendors, manufacturers, or first-hand producers," Meisya shared.

"Well, the intention was really to look for opportunities at the Canton Fair, but in the end, because suddenly Bebi invited the kids to join, it all fell apart. So we didn't go to the Canton Fair, and ended up looking for wholesalers elsewhere," she added.

"Alhamdulillah my two kids are already grown, and Bambang is also starting to be independent. So every trip, I really teach them how to be responsible for their own belongings, and they commit to the itinerary that I have made. So they also learn to coordinate with everyone. It actually makes us more solid and compact," Meisya concluded.
